Kinesio Taping has changed the lives of patients and practitioners around the world. Dr. Harvey is a Kinesio® Tape Instructor and has been using tape for over 12 years. She teaches the following courses around the southeast United States:

Neuroplasticity: Combining Assessments and a Multi-Sensory Treatment Approach to Motor Learning
This neuroplasticity course is lecture and hands-on lab. The course will review basic neuroanatomy and physiology will occur, including focused attention to the integumentary system. Participants will be guided through a user-friendly framework to screen across body structures and systems. The screen directs clinicians through a multisystem assessment, recommended by the APTA, resulting in the ability to identify the primary physiology/system(s) impacting function. Therapists will use the knowledge gained to guide interventions/stimulus options to promote improved, meaningful participation in life activities and patient outcomes!

Good Vibrations: Pediatric Application of Focal and Whole Body Vibration
Vibration therapy has been used to treat a vast range of comorbidities associated with diagnoses of Cerebral Palsy, Duchene Muscular Dystrophy, Down Syndrome, and more. Even a single treatment can improve function! One study says it may even “become a potent supplement or alternative for neuromuscular electrical stimulation” (Feltroni et al., 2018). Over 100 million scars are acquired annually, 70% of those being in pediatric clients.
